It was the most popular commercial from the Super Bowl. Now it's the latest slang craze on campuses across the country.

"Wazzzup?", the greeting used by the actors in the Budweiser ad campaign, has become so popular at UMich that students on campus have staged phone calls using only the slang word that last for minutes at a time.

The popularity of "Wazzzup?" didn't come entirely from the Bud spots. A lot of students are cult followers of the Superfriends' "Wazzzup?" clip -- a spliced video short featuring Superman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin that's dubbed with the original commercial's soundtrack. A South Park dubbed short and a version in a sushi restaurant (where "wasabi" gets confused with "wazzzup") are also popular downloads.

Sounds like we'll be buzzing with this one for a while....
